At the Fort Steuban KC Show, "CH Hallmark Belaire Gold Dust" (Sienna) a Pembroke Welsh Corgi bred and owned by Gloria and Ken Hansen and Midge Ruscak went BOB over 3 other Specials handled by Ken Hansen.  He also went BOS on Saturday at the Butler County KC Show with Sienna.

Pam Weber tells us that...Ch Kaelark-Tanglewood Chasing Dreams (papillon) was WD and BOB in Canada10/8/06.He now has 7 points in Canada. AND...Tanglewood's Summer Rain (papillon) had a great day on 10/9/06 in Canada for her first time out.was WB, BOB and an Adult Group 3 all at the age of 6 months.also had a Group 1 for Best Puppy that same day.10/8/06was Best Puppy in Breed. What a wonderful way to start out

Tina Newton is proud to announce... that Briana's first weekend out in juniors with Merlyn's Rising Pop Star, call name Tigger, placed all four days at the Canfield show! On Thurs. Aug. 3rd she took 4th, Fri. she took 2nd, Sat. she won 1st and Sun. she placed 4th again. In addition to this, on Sunday she took the TDI test and passed with flying colors!

Pam Weber tells us that... I wanted to report that my papillon Kaelark-Tanglewood Chasing Dreams finished his championship at the IX Center in December.He was only 18 months old and had been off the show circuit for several months due to a broken leg.

 

Kyrie and Elaine Mayowski are proud to announce that... their little Lhasa Apso "Elijah" (Ch,     U-AG1 Sintu Marlo Nick At Nite CD, RA, NA, NAP, NAJ, OJP,) earned his Rally Advanced Title on May 20, 2006 at the St Clairsville Show. Elijah was pulled out of retirement to compete in Rally  Obedience and he is Loving it. to go "Little Man".  We Love you so much.

Deborah Miller-Gurchak tells us that...Ellis had his first acting part in Jan, (aired March & April).  He had to perform agility & obedience skills and accept camera and booms all around him.  The   commercial was for Harvest Financial, filmed for Stein Productions out of New York.  The base of the commercial was about rolling over funds. 

Nancy Grebur has completed certification as a VITAS Innovative Hospice Care Volunteer using her Therapy Dog Incorporated dog Ranger. He has been doing many visits at Personal Care facilities, nursing homes and private care patients.  We hope this will be a good experience for all concerned.

 

Bill Herbein has completed certification as a VITAS Innovative Hospice Care Volunteer using experienced Therapy Dog Inc. dogs Rondo and Trio.  Bill hopes to get Allegro certified as a therapy dog also since he is the only one of the three that is a comfortable lap size dog.  The team of Bill, Rondo and Trio will be assigned VITAS hospice patients to visit in the Alzheimer nursing facilities already visited by the team.

 

CH Oakwind Belaire Naughty N Nice (Starr), a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, owned by Gloria Hansen and Carra Cole, finished her American Championship going WB, BW and BOS at the Danville KC show in NC, on March 21.  She was beautifully handled by Ferebe Simons.

 

Elaine Mayowski informs us that...Kyrie is proud to announce that her Lhasa Apso brother "Elijah" (U-AG1 Ch Sintu Marlo Nick At Nite CD, RN, NA, NAP, NAJ, OJP, TDI, CGC, CL1-F), stepped out of retirement to do some Rally Obedience at the WPKA Show on March 25 and 26.  He did an "Awesome" job and qualified both days in Rally Advanced.  What a great little guy he is.  Elijah is the only Lhasa Apso ever to be a "Versatility Dog".  Way to go Elijah!  We Love you soooo much.
