2007

Pam Weber tells us that...I would like to announce that my Am/Can Ch Tanglewood's Summer Rain (Papillon) finished her Canadian Championship on 5/5/07 and her American Championship on 9/29/07.  She did all this by 18 months of age.   A special thanks to Carol Gefell and her gang for their expert handling and care of this wonderful girl.

Elizabeth Brinkley tells us that...a new litter of 4 - 2 tri males, 1 blue male, 1 blue female has arrived.  Sire—BPIS, BIMBS AKC/CKC/UKC Ch. Wynstone's The Impressionist.  Dam—Fayr Isle   Moon Cast.

New Puppies

Diane Troese reports she has two new puppies...From Dianne Hawes, Wistwin Shelties in NC,   Wistwin Byzantine "BIZZY" a non white factored tri bitch by Ch Wistwin Primo Arctic and out of Wistwin Meridian.  Bizzy is 10 months old now, and is a wild frisbee chasing fool.  From Lori Wilson, Mystix Shelties in Niagara Falls NY, Mystix Show Me A Garden "POPPY" a bi-blue by Ch Macdega Authentic and out Lori's Ch Macdega Notorious daughter.  "Poppy" is Behold's niece through Be's sire, Ch Mystix Quote Unquote.  Poppy's sire, Authentic (JARED) is a full brother to Tulsa Sue's sire, Ch Macdega Atlantis......I picked Poppy out at age 7 weeks before Behold became ill, and, now, I am so glad to have a bit of the family that I have loved so much.  Poppy has learned to be a wild frisbee chasing fool from her best friend Bizzy.   Her name, "Show Me A Garden" is from Snow Patrol's song, Chasing Cars, and is in honor of my Be.

Elaine Mayowski tells us that..."Mach Kyrie" gave up a weekend to let her Lhasa Brother "Elijah" have a weekend of fun.   Elijah, who is retired from the show ring, went into the Veterans ring at Westmoreland's Obedience Show on June 10.  Kyrie and Elaine are very proud to announce that Elijah qualified and got 2nd place.  Way to go our Sweet "Little Man"....We Love you so much.

Although not an official Sheltie.......I have to brag about my Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  "Belaire's Kingda Ka" (Coaster) finished his Championship with a "BANG", going WD,BOW and BOB, then going on to take a Herding Group 1 at the Carroll Kennel Club show at the end of May.  He is owned and bred by Gloria and Ken Hansen and co-bred by Midge Ruscak.  Beautifully handled by Ferebe Simons.

"Ellis" aka Shamont's Paden BluCD was quite excited when he received another call for him to be a star. His photo shoot was done in March for Elias-Savion Studios and a wonderful photographer, Michael Ray. Boston-Logan airport will bebanners promoting travelers to take gifts for their pets, he also shared the screen with two cats that reside with my assistant Kelly Pontiere. will be sporting a bandana with "BOSTON" and the American flag. A star is tough to live with! Ellis lives with his two greatest fans - Debbie and Chuck Gurchak.
